Topics Covered:
This module covered building a lesson in the Canvas Platform

Overview / Summary of Topics:
  • Creating modules/pages
  • Attaching files and hyperlinks
  • Creating tests, assignments, and discussion boards
  • Using rubrics where appropriate

Item of Interest:
I think I prefer the organization of Blackboard, but I really loved the look of the pages in Canvas and how it automatically made it aesthetically pleasing with the large title in a different font. I also love how it embedded the video into Canvas instead of just having the hyperlink for the learner to click on to be taken to YouTube.

Areas of Help or Clarification:
I think I'm ok here. It was a little tricky for me at first, but I think it's just because I was so used to Blackboard. This was different, but seems to get the job done just as well as Blackboard.
